The San Diego Ronald McDonald House Charities provides a “home away from home” for families with children being treated for serious, life-threatening conditions at local hospitals. Since the Ronald McDonald House relies on community support, they depend on volunteers to share their time and talents to make families experience the comforts of home while caring for their hospitalized child. They have many opportunities to volunteer.
