The San Diego Ronald McDonald House Charities provides a “home away from home” for families with children being treated for serious, life-threatening conditions at local hospitals. Since the Ronald McDonald House relies on community support, they depend on volunteers to share their time and talents to make families experience the comforts of home while caring for their hospitalized child. They have many opportunities to volunteer.
In February 2016, WorthPointe Wealth Managers and Plumb volunteered in the kitchen to provide dinner for over 100 families. They donated the food, cooked, prepared, and served to the families. There are many volunteer opportunities available: Click here to learn more.
