After 25+ years of providing outsourced accounting services to hundreds of companies, we have become experts in the industries we support. We understand the levers, the needs, and the challenges of accounting for construction and real estate, manufacturing and distribution, professional services, and ecommerce companies. We’ve helped companies create efficiencies, digitize processes, revamp inventory tracking models, create PO and POS systems, clean-up books, implement best accounting practices, and so much more.
But there’s another answer: we love these industries.
Not only have we worked closely with CEOs, CFOs, Controllers, CPAs, owners, and founders, but we ourselves have been in these roles at companies in these industries. We provide hands-on assistance and become an extension of our clients’ teams because we understand the good, the bad, and the ugly of our clients’ companies – we’ve been there. And we are extremely adept at coming into a seemingly impossible situation and implementing the necessary accounting framework, but we provide so much more than that.
One of our Plumb Principles is to “go beyond the numbers” and we are dedicated to that philosophy. It’s not enough to provide accurate and timely information to our clients – although of course, we do this. We also provide the “why” behind those numbers. The context and meaning of the information we gather, share, and analyze is as important as anything we do. And we’ve seen time and again the company-changing impact our efforts have on our clients. This additional context allows them to be smarter, more focused, and ultimately more profitable. When our clients are successful, we are successful. And after more than 25 years in this business, we can confidently say we are incredibly successful.
